I can highly recommend Derek Sabine with Newpointe Wealth as an extremely knowledgeable and experienced wealth advisor. Prior to working with Derek, I had my portfolio scattered with several firms and financial advisors. My returns were modest in some accounts and poor in others but I had very little conversation and interaction with the other advisors. The only time I connected with them was when they called about a new product or investment opportunity that was available that was commissionable, or only if I asked for a periodic review. It was more of a "set it and forget it" type of approach and that model really did not work for me.
I found immediately that Derek provided much more value. He asked significantly more questions about our goals and future plans up front, in the initial consultation, before he offered anything. I was able to consolidate my portfolio to a collective platform and I have multiple ways to access and dive deeper into my portfolio and each investment's performance. The mobile platform makes it all very easy to see and digest, and my wife prefers this approach. I, on the other hand, am old fashioned and prefer to connect over the phone to discuss options. Derek and I touch base quarterly at a minimum. He is extremely responsive and I know that if I call, email or text him, he gets back to me right away. He will also reach out to inform me of market opportunities or trends that may impact my investments.
